I’m not going to spend the whole session nodding at you.
I’m Missy. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor providing virtual therapy for women throughout Oklahoma.
I listen closely, ask questions, notice patterns, and tell you when I think something deserves another look.

You can talk. I’m going to participate.
Sometimes you need to say the thing out loud. Sometimes you need someone to catch what you just said and ask, “Wait. Do you actually believe that?”
That is closer to how I work.
I want to understand what is happening in your life and how you make sense of it. I’m also paying attention to the assumptions, expectations, thinking patterns, and old responses that may be making an already difficult situation harder.
There is room for humor here. There is room to be frustrated, uncertain, tired of talking about it, or not quite sure where to start.
You do not need to show up as the polished version of yourself.
Therapy is more useful when we can work with what is actually happening instead of what you think you should be handling better.
I’ll ask questions when I want to understand more.
I’ll point out patterns when I see them.
I may challenge a thought that has been running the meeting for too long.
We’ll use practical tools when practical tools make sense.
We can sit with something when it needs more than a quick solution.
You are allowed to laugh in therapy. Seriously.
Talking is not the only way I work.
Brainspotting is an important part of my clinical work.
Some women come to therapy already able to explain themselves extremely well. They know the pattern. They understand the backstory. Their thinking brain has done plenty of homework.
When talking and insight are not reaching all of what is still being felt, Brainspotting gives us another way to work with the experience.
I’m especially interested in helping women process what feels stuck without requiring them to find the perfect words for it first.

The relationship matters. So does knowing the person you are trusting with your mental health is appropriately trained.
You might appreciate working with me if...
You want a therapist who is warm without being vague. You want room to process, but you also want to leave therapy with a clearer understanding of what is happening.
You do not need someone to tell you how to run your life. You may need someone who can help you hear yourself more clearly while also being willing to challenge you.
The best way to know whether we’re a fit is to start the conversation.
You do not need to know exactly what kind of therapy you need before you reach out.
