Online therapy for women throughout Oklahoma

Therapy without adding another place you have to be.

My practice is fully virtual. You can meet with me from a private location that works for you without the drive, waiting room, or extra shuffle in the middle of your day.

You’re still coming to therapy. You just don’t have to commute to get there.

Virtual therapy can make getting to the appointment simpler. The work we do once you’re there still matters.
How it works

What is online therapy actually like?

Online therapy is psychotherapy provided through a secure video platform rather than in the same physical office.

At your appointment time, you connect from a private location in Oklahoma using a device with a camera, microphone, and reliable internet connection. We meet face-to-face on screen and use the session much as we would use time together in an office.

I’m still going to listen closely, ask questions, notice patterns, challenge things when it is useful, and help you work with what brought you to therapy.

Throughout Oklahoma

You don’t have to live near my office.

Because my practice is virtual, I work with women in communities throughout Oklahoma.

For a therapy appointment with me, you need to be physically located in Oklahoma at the time of the session.

Your home office can be the therapy office.

Your lunch hour does not need to include a cross-town drive.

Moving to another Oklahoma community does not automatically mean changing therapists.

Weather does not get to turn your appointment into a road trip.

The important part is having a private place where you can talk freely.

Before your session

What do I need for virtual therapy?

A private location, a reliable internet connection, and a device that allows us to see and hear each other are the basics.

Headphones can be helpful if privacy is a concern. It is also worth thinking about who can hear you, whether you are likely to be interrupted, and where you can sit comfortably enough to focus.

You do not need a Pinterest-worthy therapy corner. A closed door is much more useful.

Brainspotting online

Can you really do Brainspotting virtually?

Yes. Brainspotting can be incorporated into teletherapy.

We can work with eye position and focused internal attention while meeting by video. I guide the process and stay engaged with what you are noticing, just as I do with the rest of our therapeutic work.

If Brainspotting is part of why you are looking for a therapist, we can talk about what you want to work on and whether it is appropriate for your needs.

Common questions

Before you open the laptop.

Do I have to be in Oklahoma for every appointment?

Yes. You need to be physically located in Oklahoma at the time of your therapy session with me.

Is online therapy private?

I use a secure platform for virtual sessions. On your end, privacy also depends on the environment you choose. A private room, headphones when useful, and reducing interruptions can help protect the space for your session.

What if I’m not very good with technology?

You do not need to be especially tech-savvy. You will need a device with video and audio, a reliable internet connection, and the ability to access the session link or platform used for your appointment.

Can I do therapy from my car?

A parked car may offer privacy in some situations, but safety, comfort, confidentiality, and the type of therapeutic work planned for the session all matter. We can talk about what setting is appropriate for your appointments.

Is virtual therapy a good fit for everyone?

Not always. Your clinical needs, privacy, safety, technology, and ability to engage in a virtual setting all matter. Part of beginning therapy is determining whether the format and my practice are appropriate for what you need.

Why virtual

Convenience is useful. Fit still matters more.

Online therapy can remove some of the logistics that make consistent appointments difficult, especially when work, family responsibilities, distance, or a packed calendar are already competing for your time.

I do not want the format to be the only reason you choose a therapist. You should also have a sense that the therapist’s style and approach make sense for you.
